About Roger
Roger Bradbury lives in Buckinghamshire in England, where he takes many of his photographs.
In 1971 he used an SLR camera for the first time, learning how to process black and white film and make prints in the school darkroom. He’s been taking photos ever since.
He isn’t going to tell you what equipment he uses because he believes that it doesn’t really matter, and no two photographers would choose the same outfit anyway.
All that’s important to him is that the camera doesn’t get in the way.
Most of Roger’s work is of people going about their daily lives. Even when taking photos of motorcycles he often waits until a human figure enters the frame to complete the composition.
He especially likes to work when the light is really, really poor, and this is also where he does his experimental work.
He has been riding motorcycles almost as long as he’s been taking photos, and thinks that photography and the freedom bikes give to get almost anywhere are a great combination.
That’s just one of the reasons that Roger now writes and takes photos for motorcycle magazines.
